    Cool beat. I like the gated rhythmic sound you're using like background percussion. When the secondary bass drum sound comes in, I think it's a little too heavy (it's not only distorting my little Dell speakers; I'm watching it on an oscilloscope screen and every time that hits, the waveform is completely clipped). Also, if you want the choir and strings to sound "separated" as they do, the part is effective. But if you wanted it to sound like a real choir with orchestra, you might be able to smooth the chord transitions out by adding a pedal tone or two; it would make the downbeat of each chord a little less obvious.
