Haha chip-tune? never heard of that but I'll have to google. Thanks for listening. yeah I haven't started carving anything. just taking out lows/highs. I'm scared to start carving because shouldn't I get the best possible sound first before carving?

Thanks for listening. Got any stuff I can check out?

No having trouble finding ones that seem to work. Any ideas? Thanks for listening!

Ah the sub-genre that sounds like early Video Game music, especially the 80s 8-Bit Nintendo NES

Its a great start. Got some interesting/fun sounds in there. Always love to hear someone doing something different than the usual dubstep or big room house. I'm also a fan of songs having multiple sections, but the transition from part A to part B was a bit too stark, and end up sounding like two different songs. One of my favorite groups Orbital is really good at this. Check out their song Spare Parts Express. It may not be your style, but there are definitely good transitions from one part to the other

This is insanely awesome, I wouldnt add much to it, but the mixing, to be honest, is horrible. Everything is way too overexaggerated, its like you compressed every section multiple times, and by the look of that waveform, you mightve. I would just say to work on that a bit more, more exaggeration will make a part stand out, but less exaggeration on the other parts will make the same effect without overpowering everything.
The track itself is amazing though, just the mixing needs work

Id like feedback if you wouldnt mind, im pretty much a beginner, but i want criticism to learn from

i like your drums and synth sounds very much. am curious as to what synths/equipment you're using.

sometimes there's a lot going on but i think all that layering will sound better once u get to more thorough mixing of the track.

the last 1/3 of it is my favorite. i'm thinking perhaps there are parts of that section that change a little fast and leave me behind. i'd definitely dig an extra loop or so on some of those 1-bar/2-bar parts within that section.

if you have the time please do check my stuff as well -- demo in signature, and there's a post with other link in this forum recently.
i make beats, and i play guitar in my beats.

I am confused as to why someone said to "ditch the loops". What? All music has loops, its how you copy/paste a section multiple times.. Unless someone can explain it better?

I never said you won't make it in the game or their are producers that don't use em, i said you will never gain any respect from real producers like myself who hand create everything from scratch! Ask any real producer... Not these new age loop using, put anything together type of producers who think they doing something and their not! I'm not trying to discourage anyone cause that's not me but that's one reason why the music game is hurting so much now cause anybody can just take a bunch of loops, slap them together and bam... Hand me my money! Lol, i don't think so... Like i said in my first post here, if you use them... Make sure you tweak them so nobody would know where you got it from.

Not sure if it's clipping or that's the sound your going for. Either way, it's def a catchy tune!
