good but the sub seems kind of loud
aight ill look into that thanx
Listened, and yes the bass drum is a bit too loud. Love the synth bass on it though, and the melody gives it an exotic feel along with the percussion.
The snare rolls fit really good. My only complaint is that it sound a bit thin if you get what i mean, I feel it doesent have enough presence, maybe its from the mix or maybe its just me.
Anyways great beat man.
Leave some feedback here when you have time.Take the lead . New Beat (Return all Feed)
I agree with BaZix. It's good...but it feels a bit thin. I think you need to add something in the middle range to even it out.
cheers

I listened to the first three beats.
I'll be honest man. The mix & composition are lacking. As well as the sound selection. Also that voice tag, it has an annoying muffled sound to it.
How to fix it? Learn & practice mixing. Download some free beats from some good producers you like, and put them in your project(s), compare the mix. rinse and repeat.
Without a good mix you really don't have finished product, because the artist(s) cannot really use them properly.
Practice composition same as with mixing. compare tracks inside your projects with your own, listen to the various instruments. Usually there is a lot more going on in good beats than is apparent.
This may be harsh criticism but if you can receive it and learn from it you will improve.
yea pretty harsh bro..but thats what I need, thank you. I do EQ all of my sounds and instruments. Im just not good at compressing at all. How can I improve on the composition?
I don't use compression except on the kick and some on the final mix. Mixing is more about sound selection(quality sounds) and proper leveling of instruments.
Make sure you have a good monitoring setup so you can hear what is really going on in your mix. Your monitors should be as flat as possible. No bass boost, no treble boost, no surround sound. just flat. The speaker should be 100W minimum IMO. For better advice visit the mixing section on this forum.
Learn composition? Try to recreate some beats you really like from good producers in the style you like. Yes copy every thing until it sounds almost the same. The idea is to learn what goes into a good beat.
ok thanx alot! I have one question. I have Yamaha HS50M monitor speakers but I dont know if I have them set right. Theres a few frequency switches on the back of them and I dont know what to set them at. That might be the reason why my mixes arent good. So if you can help me with figuring this out Id gladly appreciate it.
