It's a pretty good beat, i'd bump it but it doesn't sound West Coast... if you want that loose funk that gives the impression of that "WEST COAST" feel try playing with some chromatic notes outside of your project's main key/mode to give it that bluesy west coast twang. Add some distortion and mid low oomph to your drums, and slow it down and don't be afraid to throw a rhodes or wurly on there with some slight tremolo. Keep doing your thing...

Sounds good, the drums are super clean. Im not sure this would be westcoast, but who cares the beats dope.
