Dope tune! However, I do not know if it's SC that degrades the quality of beats sometimes, because it seems like it happens often. I am just picking up some frequencies interfering through out the beat. A bit of EQing would take away the crowdyness to make room for vocals in the mid range of the song. Just being honest as you requested! Again, it maybe SoundCloud that jumbled the beat a bit. Overall, what a great job. Your arrangement is very fitting and the drums wrap around the flow of the melody very well. Great job again

Part of it is Soundcloud.. Part of it is the mix being a little hot... I used this for a beat battle recently and I liked the crunchiness of it in big soeakers... worked out pretty good...
