Well, "Cryptic Times" is, as you said, incredibly simple, but that can be a good thing. Um, I'm afraid here it just sounds like a big mess. The piano sounds too robotic instead of sounding like you actually played them, the drums don't sound equalized at all, of course, I'm not sure if that's what you wanted or not, and the little spacey riff you have in the back sounds too much like a sample and not as much like an actual instrumental. There are some good moments like the small piano melody you have on the verses, but that's almost it. It doesn't show much experience, but I know it grows with you.
"Lisa Bonet", on the other hand, sounds like you have the talent and the experience to make some pretty solid beats. Sure it's repetitive, but I could get behind it. It's not too robotic, and it's smooth. Not too much to critique except be a little more diverse. Don't be afraid to add different drum patterns, or a piano riff, or even some guitar sounds.
All-in-all, you need a little growth before you want to shop anything around, but you're on the right path. Most producers I know don't even know chords and keys, but from the sound of it, you definitely do. And, also, experiment with panning the sounds. It adds a little depth and stereo to the all-around music. Just a little (a lot) of feedback from one young producer to another.
