Made loooong ago, back when i first started... looking to re-do it, any ideas? No mixing and mastering done to it, but comment on anything you see fit.

The better your review is, the more inclined i am to give YOU an in depth review... Comment on the mix, mastering, panning, sound choice, arrangement, whole 9 yards...

Its very repetative and need alot of work. If you really like this beat I would add more melodies to it and more elements.

The drums are like the only thing that were "Ok" in my opinion. But I wasn't any better when I started making beats.
Sounds like albino was used in it, am I right? What I would do is add a melody to it, it's just that pad type sound, and that spring type synth.
I would add a ping pong delay on that little spring sound (I don't what else to call it haha) and add probably a choir and some synth strings.
And a main melody I would probably use a bell or a pluck synth just to keep it on the relaxed side..
Overall though the sounds were pretty much at the right level.

If you like the way it is I would some more work on it.. if it were MY beat I would erase everything and keep the drums and make something new.
Soft rhodes RnB beat would be cool

Not bad for a first track. To start off, I'd add more dynamics, it seems as everything is on the same level throughout the whole song. Maybe some buildups & drops to keep things from seeming repetitive. I'd keep the baseline, but give it a few more elements to accompany it. Like a subtle string section, varied hi hats, and orchestra hits/brass instruments. I'd also shift the focus away from the baseline and possibly towards a piano motif you could come up with.

Check my track out if you get a chance:

    Ace2CWB,

I think the track is cool! I like the drum sounds and drum pattern, but I'm not too fond of that filtering pad playing throughout! I would definitely say you need more changes and something needs to happen sooner in the track to keep the energy going! Track seems like it's still in its beginning stages and a lot more work would need to be done to take it to the next level!

Keep working on it! Maybe you can turn it into something great!

Check out my post and give feedback when you get a chance.

I think the drum work was okay. I'd add a bigger kick to it though to give it more of that timbaland-ginuwine feel that I think you were going with. I agree with others and in saying you have to add more melodies and instruments to it, I was waiting for it to change or something to come in and switch it up and it never happened.
I'm on my grustle. My grind and my hustle, ya dig?

I like it. Has a nice vibe to it, I think you should lay some bells and strings to keep that vibe and refine it at the same time
