What you won't do- Bobby Caldwell "half-remake" practicing on Bass

Since in an old post i asked about R&B Bass(lines), I made a "half-remake" of Bobby caldwell's What You Won't Do For Love, cause the bass is "easy", i'm thinking about making the whole remake, but what i want to know is ur opinions about the bass, i'm still a completely "newbie" wit the bass, so any suggestions, critics, tips, advice anything will be gratefully received

I'm still working on the kicks, so that they blend nice wit the bass

This is classic oldschool R&B right here. I think The bassLine is fine I could here 90's Mary j blige on this. Keep doin your thing
