A remix of a pop-ish, singer/songwriter song...all feedback returned

I ran across this song from a singer/songwriter in the town where I live and loved it and asked her if I could remix it, here is what came from it. If you want to let me know what you think cool, if not cool, I will still give you feedback even if you just drop your links...solid feedback too, none of that "this is cool" crap. haha

Thanks for checking it out! The drums are just layers of a bunch of different deep percussion elements over a kick.

Just checked out your track. I like where it is headed, I would have liked the intro to have a little bit more in it, maybe some sort of melody instead of just the drums to start off. Also, when the break comes in and you had that sound effect, it just cuts off, maybe try time stretching it to feel that entire gap of space, and evening adding a thick reverb and a slight delay over it so it sounds full, the way it is not it just cuts off. One you get into the meat of the track, it sounds pretty cool, I would say tighten up that mix though, EDM is all about that low end, so make sure that kick and bass is KNOCKING and make sure the rest of the elements are balanced in the mix. Nice track, and thank again for checking me out!
 
This has a nice vibe to it. I wasn't really feeling the intro 0:00-:20. Since theres no drums in the first verse, it feels like when she's starts to sing that could be the intro. Also it felt like the drums shouldn't have dropped back out for the second verse. It kind took away from the momentum it was building. Other than that its good.
