I'm kind of on the fence about the ending part. I'm thinking of doing a riff played 4 times as a small bridge to an ending section. I just need advice on where I should take this song.

Also what subgenre of metal would you categorize this as? To me, it's kind of a mix of thrash, hardcore and heavy metal. I'm not too sure tho.

    Thanks

Let me start from a guitar player standpoint:
You got some nice riffs going on there.
I personaly think you can reduce the string noise you make by sliding at arround 0:16 onward.
But that is more of a personal preference, as this can also be used as a tool, so that's up to you.

    Now from a producers standpoint:
How do you implement your distortion? I think that could be improved upon.
Don't make the same mistake Metallica makes and just repeat the same riffs over and over again.
If you want to repeat riffs, something in the background has to change to make it more interesting.
Obvious next step: add drums, then vocals. Don't try to force in a solo.
Also it sounds a lot like Rammstein, so try to listen to them to see what could be done next (Something like "Bück dich")
