Young Thug x Future Type Beat - Spaceman /// F4F

This is alright. I feel there could be a lot more happening with it. To me it sounds really empty tho.
Try experimenting with some more instruments. Maybe some heavy trap horns would help or a variation in the drums? Think about it man. this could be cold.

Liking the unpredictable piano pattern.. very interesting. Was disappointed when the drums came in though.. they could be a lot more present and powerful. The pattern of the drums are good, but the hihat is way too timid, and overall they could just pop out a little more. Maybe limiting or compressing the whole track to bring them together and louder would be a quick fix. A delay on the piano might be cool for the second half of the verse, or verse 2 or something. I like the filter in the third verse. Reference similar commercial songs as a target for your mixing.

Hey everyone. I released a Young Thug/Future/Migos type beat and I'm looking for feedback. Be honest, all feedback is accepted. How's the mix? Anything you would change? I will return the favor. Thanks!

That piano is fire! And the general mix is very clean. I don't think you need extra hi-hats necessarily, that's a matter of taste, but I do think this track could do with a louder more compact kick.

The 808's have a lot of room to be driven more. So you need to distort them and let them fill that space the lead instrument (piano) isn't occupying. You seem to have good balance within your drum mix otherwise. The second instrument you introduced doesn't sound too appealing to fit a young thug taste. That techno synth is more for a future vibe. Young thug's style consists more of pianos, organs, and some abstract synths you'd find in omnisphere (More of what London On Tha Track resorts to). The beat has a lot of potential.

Firstly, a fantastic and very controlled mix. Everything sounds clean and perfectly controlled here in terms of mixing skills.

Your drum and bass work are dope. Piano melody is great too, enjoying the keys and the break/change up.

In terms of improvments: How about some more snares and some brighter percussion work? The hi hat sounds a bit low in the mix, could you edit this? Also I think some more instrumentation would give this beat a bit more fullness and variety like the arp type synth you do bring in but more of this and more often!

Great job, good technical production and awesome mixing. Keep it up.

Nice track man! Very clean sounding. I like the main piano melody. I could definitely hear Future mumbling blissfully over this joint. I would maybe like to hear a little more instrumentation with this beat. Something to go along with the piano. Even on the chorus where you switch it up I think you could add in another synth or pad or something to fill it out more. Other than that, nice work homie!
