Liking the sample so far..
Dang, drums didn't come in like I was expecting. The patterns and sample you chose are actually pretty good for the song but they arent powerful enough. Song could actually be really good with a stronger mix on the drums. I like how the snare is on the sides. My initial thought is that I would like to hear the drums in the middle, but it could work with them on the sides with a better mix, but I feel if you were going to keep the drums on the outside you would want to bring the sample in a little bit so the low end in it doesnt fight with the kick. Not bad. I would find a comparable sampled commercial track and aim for the mix on it.
