Made this instrumental that I think is pretty freaking good. It's really chill and has a lot of instruments. There's also a switch-up halfway through that I think you'll find might melt your face off

This is pretty dope, though it's not something I would skate to haha. I enjoyed the synths you used, i felt they were a strong core to the beat, and the constant adding of more and more instrumentation helped progress the beat and keep it from becoming repetitive. Also when I hear this melody, I'm reminded of Christmas for some reason haha. Still dope regardless. The drums were nice as well, I like how they sound subtle in the mix. The switch up wasn't as crazy as you were making it out to be unfortunately but I still found it enjoyable. All in all this is pretty good.
This is pretty tight but not at all what I expected haha. The retro feeling is dope but I think it could really sound good with a couple more modern sounds thrown in to contrast with the old school stuff. The arrangement is nice and the beat changes and progresses in a natural manner. I don't know if the switch-up melted my face off but I did really like it! Overall, I guess I'd say that I like it but I'm not totally in love with the sound selection. It's really cool but feels like it could really take off if there were a couple things changed and tweaked to sound more current and less SNES ish.
I actually like the beat. It has a nice melody, but I think it needs a better mix. I would cut a bit of low end on the keys, and give the drums more punch. That's all. Nice work!
