NIce man! You say hip hop, I actually hear this as a great pop/rock/r&b song. You should write to this and find an up and coming artist who fits it. Nice work!

I'm your first follower on SC! Def a good sample choice and I dig the drum samples you chose for the rhythm. Nice additions of samples as well as switching up the drums a bit for the chorus. Not much to hate on here cuz this is def the hard soulful type of track I dig. Keep grindin and you'll have no problem progressing in this game, fam!

- Cool sample for sure
- Mix of drums could be better in my opinion -- the snare needs more snap -- try increasing the EQ in like the 1-2khz area
- To be honest it sounds like one section throughout the track -- maybe for the verse section, filter out the sample or chop it more so it sounds like a verse -- then in the chorus, just let the sample play with the drums, etc. Do things like that to seperate the sections

Thanks for the Feedback! I appreciate the constructive critism also. I will defintely try to make the overall track more interesting, in terms of the EQ and arrangemet. I'm just getting to grips with the more advanced side of production, this is the first beat i have ever finished, so that is an achievement in itself.
