Just listened to aint goin. I like the melody on the keys. Drum arrangement is good! just lacks punch, give the kick some low end to give it impact. Trumpet sounds sweet. Samples or vst? I just don't like the vocal sample

Just played aint going. this joint is freshhhhh, I enjoy the instrumentation you used a lot. the horn arrangements are tight and the way you brought in a lot of different instruments for each part made it feel complete in a way that a lot of producers struggle to achieve. the marvin gaye sample was a nice addition, I actually used that same acapella in a track on my SC so it was interesting to hear how you flipped it in a totally different way than how I did.
I'd appreciate some feedback on this track I put out, your thoughts would mean a lot!

This is super creative, I like the jazzy piano chord sample. It's cool to hear someone flip more complex chords like that. The drum pattern might be my favorite part. It's really intricate and out of the box as well. I do have to agree with the person further up that said they could punch a little more. Regardless, it's a really cool element in the track. The horns are cool too, very synthy sounding but I think it works out well with the track. I mainly like how aggressive they sound, just a really dominant tone. Overall, cool stuff. I hope you consider tweaking the drums just a smidge but even so, it's dope!

Dude u got some pretty dope mixing skills yourself! That boombap sound u got going is the stuff man! That sample game is strong!
 
aint goin is very soulful i dig it. i like how you switch up the instruments every so often, it keeps it from getting boring nice job
 
The Louie VI is definitely better than the other one. The sample is dope.
I think the instruments kinda sound off on "Aint goin".
Overall I'm really digging the Louie Vi beat. It's soulful.
