Cool idea but I think the crash is too loud and it's to repetitive. But some changes and it's a nice beat
 
The beat is dope and it has so much potential, I would've really liked the for the "verse" section could be just the chord progression without the crash cymbal and the vocal sample. The beat is sick though just a little fixing in the mixing and arranging and it would be complete.

Great sample. I never would've thought to sample that song. The drum selection was good also. I could hear Cole spitting some fire over this.

I second what the post above mine says: If you could sample a part of that song without the vocals that would be great just to add some variation. Also if you can, I think some scratches would sound good on the hook too.
