I like the sounds you used here. I would just work on the arrangements. I would make the drums hit harder so you feel it more. Maybe pump up the bass so the track has more life to it. Cool shimmery pad sound.. Not sure if I get a J Cole vibe, his beats are more orchestral, sample based to me.. but still it would be good for like a trap rapper or someone similar to that style.. I love the ambient vibe of this it sounds real dope. The melodies on it are very simple but they work super well and get the job done so nice job on that. NOthing really else I can say about it its dope though
