I think your sampling was great, you cut it well and it flows seamlessy
I think that the sample however needs a high pass filter to cut out the lows to begin with, and I think the lead could also be EQ'd differently to give it a more lo-fi feeling.

Composition wise, its great, keep it up!

Yeah, I agree that the sample makes the mix muddy. Other than that it's solid. Sample loops nicely and drum are well matched to it.

The shaker type sound going into the left ear could be lowered by a good bit and it would sound much better, other than that this is great.

the sample you have panned left is panned too hard, maybe bring it just a little bit more towards center. drums are cool, i feel the snare could use a little more reverb. try panning your drums a little too, it creates a much open and wider field. sampling was dope, everything fit nicely. like others said maybe work on the mix a bit.
