Thanks man. Appreciate the kind words. As for the 808s... I use Superstar O's 808 massacre... 808 Massacre VSTi

It's only $30 and it was a life saver for me! I used to struggle hella hard on mixing my 808s and this vst saved me. I used to side chain/eq/saturate when I mixed my 808s. Now all I do is use a Hz enhancer to push the frequency I want to cut the mix a little better or get it to rumble a little harder. Sometimes I'll toss a limiter on it, but that's it. Easy as pie.
 
That synth has such a dope tone to it -- smooth and pure sounding

imo it's a little long for not really having much variation but I'm sure a lot of that would be helped out once someone throws an actual hook/verse on this but I personally would have made this about a minute shorter

It's a dope beat tho, definitely have the composition and mix down for this type of beat

Very dope beat. My only suggestion would be to switch up the synth a little bit. It's the same loop over and over but ya drum pattern is on point.
 
thanks everyone.. i appreciate it. i returned all the feedback that was left here. as for switching up the synth.. i know what you mean, but it's kinda the west coast sound having either a 2 or 4 bar lead loop throughout the whole track haha. it is what it is.
