This probably gonna be the last 'type' beat I upload in a while cause my album is almost done and im gonna go all in and work on finishing that and promoting the singles, but anyway heres a dope Kendrick / Ab-soul type beat, the track conceptually is about alcohol addiction, the whole instrumental is 'drowning' in a liquor sound effect which is meant so show yourself drowning in addiction and losing conrol, the instrumental gets weaker as the track goes on and the liquor sound effect gets stronger, signifying that addiction is a losing battle.


This is a throwaway from my tape which is why its got such a deep concept to it, I just wanted to share it with you cause I still think its dope, it just doesnt fit anywhere in my tape. This is a little preview of the style and concept of my tape aswell. Conceptually the tape is about drugs and the psychological effects of them, told mainly through instrumentals.

Intro is cool, nice effects with the filter! shit is very raw and dirty, that really stood out to me. some will say the mix isnt good, but i think thats kind of the concept of the beat, to make it sound raw and dirty. at least that would make sense to me, as it fits perfect the sample. only thing that i wish would be a more dominant hi hat who leads the rhythm.

I love the experiment homie!!! I agree with the others. I love the grittiness of the sample, it matches the mood and the message you're trying to portray. This would actually be a great intermittent song in an album. I honestly don't have much criticism to give. It sounds great, seems like you already know what to do!

Wait, so you're not including this on your tape? You must set a super high bar haha. I think it's dope, the sample is nice and gritty and the drums have a cool lo-fi sound to it. The general trippiness of the track is awesome, I really like the ambient bubbling effects and vinyl crackle, although the crackle is maybe a little loud. The low pass filter sections are a nice change-up to keep it from being too repetitive. Overall, it's super tight, nice work!

Intro is interesting but it turns better when it drop's, kick&snare fits with the dirty feel. Sample sounds amazing and hot to hear, open hat presence is okay. Mix appears balanced to me. Would be great to hear someone rapping on this beat. Good luck on your tape. Could you review this jazzy beat that i made please?
 
So i didn't know what to expect when i started listening to this. The kick and the snare and rhythm seemed off and the use of a snarish sound as highhats seemed off. Then i zoned out and realized i was 3.25 into the song and hadn't skipped it. I realized that what i though was offbeat was just a weird trippy swing and i vybed to it. Im feeling it, ill check out your other stuff. Good job. Check mine out when you get a chance and let me know what you think.

Cool idea here, I like static in songs so I like that touch. Could be a quieter effect maybe. Sample in the background is nicely filtered. As a beat on its own, idk, but for the concept of your tape, I think it works well. What drug is thsi supposed to be lol? I ended up listening to it a couple times in the background without noticing. Keep up the creativity
