I like this man I really think it has the NY feel. I think that the mix is ok but I would try EQ'n a bit different and just panning a lil more because it sounds like the sounds are fighting for center stage but I think the song is dope, a lil more work and its a hit. I really enjoyed the arrangement of the sounds tho. Great fucking job overall tho bro

Are those reversed hi-hats or something? weird sound, kinda cool though. I liked the creativity with the guitar lines too. I don't know if I'd call it Joey Badass sounding though. Since it's not sample-based, I don't know if you can really get that type of sound unless you're putting a mic on some live instruments. Good stuff though, just a little synthy sounding for a sample-head like me haha.

I'm not really big on samples like that. I might try a sample based beat for the sake of it though.

Also yeah they are reversed hi hats. I also used a reverse kick and a reverse snare at the start of the song. Heck even the main melody is reversed(I sampled a loop I made on a choir VST then changed the pitches to make that weird sound)

Nice NY vibe, as far as the mix goes there is a lot of clashing, especially between 250 and 500hz. Good overall beat.

This beat gives me more of an Action Bronson vibe. Im diggin the buildup, the hit hats, and how you played with reversing instruments. The guitar had a nice touch to it as well.

nice sound selection on this! those reverse high hats are dope but some of the percussion could use a bit more mixing. overall i really like the vibe!

This is dope I like the dark grittiness of the beat and nice work on the revered sounds and instrumentation overall this a dope beat sounds kinda mystic because of the reversed choir sounds I do think the mix can be tweaked a lil so it sounds much cleaner and the instruments can shine more but thats a easy fix.
