What's up guys. I usually post my beats in there weekly but this time its a full song. I drop 1 single every month. This was self produced with the help of barnes blvd. on the keys. I did the rapping and engineering on this as well. Let me know your thoughts and I will return the feedback 100%

dope keys and noise in the background started off perfectly for me... the topic is meaningful and the rapping is dope; solid mixing btw ... nice harmonies it reminds me of Kendrick lamar a lot .. the panning is nice too... the drums bang .. the 2nd verse flow reminds me of big krit a bit .. good song it displays a lot of thoughtfulness and meaning .. dope bro, I'm sure this song means a lot to you. This style has a lot of potential. You can develop a commercial sound. Just work on lyrics and tuning your voice. but it's pretty dope bro
 
I love the originality and flow! Your voice sounds good rapping too. I feel like you could do a lil more to make a memorable melody though. Keep it up though! Keep doing YOU!

Thats kind of how music goes lol Its sad but positive at times.

Your beat was pretty cool man. Needs some mixing and arrangement work IMO ... The keys were too loud. The drums to sit above the keys. Also I would have dropped the beat with the snare/hats/bass/keys and then bring in the kicks. Just a thought. Keep working tho!
