Return of the Dad Jazz Cowboy: Slacker Bilk stuck in an elevator (to paraphrase Derrick May)with nothing but a sampler and an LP of TV Western theme tunes. All feedback returned - and appreciated!

Thanks mate. The track came about in response to a workplace discussion. I get some static off colleagues for my love of modern jazz, which they don't understand. By way of banter they held up,at his passing, the UK "trad jazz" clarinetist Acker Bilk, as an exemplar of jazz. The UK trad jazz boom of the early 1960s is about as far removed from the music I love as you can get! So I lifted and chopped a break from a bop drum solo and reworked Bilk's signature hit. I also worked in the vocal sample to reflect the themes, present in a few of my tracks,of migration and exile.

Gonna head over to ypur Soundcloud link now and will leave feedback there. I am familiar with your beats and look forward to it.
