Piano-Based Hip Hop (Live MPC Performance)

Hey everyone,

Here is a track that I created not long ago on the MPC Element:



The samples are from a classic Debussy piano performance. I'm very interested in doing more of this style of music, so we'll see how it goes. Any feedback is welcome!

That's an awesome track Brandon. Love the beats and the piano chords that appear in between. Musically the texture is just the right amount; it doesn't confuse the listener and is minimal while also being full of life. Good job indeed. Did you sample most of the synths and piano progressions?

Would love to hear some female vocals over that. It would surely go well with it.

Thanks for the comment! I sampled all of the piano from the same song, and then added in my own bass and string sounds to fill everything out.
