The track is cool, production-wise it needs some more hyped up elements to give it that energy. Overall arrangement is nice you take elements away and add them back at the right moment. I feel the mix needs some work tho. The balance between all elements is the first thing you need to focus on, once you get that right you can work on making the track fatter/punchier/wider etc. using EQ, Compression, Reverb/delay and other tools.

So basically the idea is cool but it needs some work to make it sound like a complete track ready for the vocals.

Just keep practicing and you'll get it right! Hope my feedback helps you out a bit.
