I haven't uploaded anything in weeks, so I decided my little vacation was over. I'm back to uploading, hopefully at a consistent pace, and I really do think that the time off helped improve my porductions and mixes. I set this project up as a test to see how far I could go with only one VST instrument, with the chosen plug-in being Lokomotiv, by Archetype Instruments (hence the name of the project). Feel free to give it a listen and give feedback if you have any.

 
If you want to get a bigger sound for your lead, try layering it with different sounding synths, you can look up how to layer on YouTube, check out “zen world how to layer leads”. His channel has a bunch of information that has helped me a lot. Try sidechaining your leads, bass and chords to your kick to give your song a pumping effect and allow more room for your kick. You can look that up on YouTube too. Overall cool melody! there’s a bunch of production tutorials on YouTube that will help you! Hope this helped:)
