what are your thoughts on the track and mix?

You have definitely captured the feel of deep house that for sure. And for the mix. Its my taste, but I feel as such that it sounds a tad over compressed and all the dynamics have squashed (sounds mostly like the drums). Nice use of the vocal chop samples too!
