Experimental track that doesn't sound very good to be honest

This is the first real project I've made with StudioOne. The problem being, it was with the free version, denominated "Prime":sigh:. This edition of the program does not support external VSTs, so I had to use Ableton Live 9 Lite to create the loops used on the free synthesizer Synister64, as well as some Synth1. I then proceeded to apply saturation and equalization with LMMS, only to fix the volume clips in Audacity. As most of you can probably imagine, this required a lot of exportation, so pardon the poor quality at moments:shame:. You also might have noticed that all the software I use is completely free, and, therefore, quite unprofessional.

I like the synth you used, but it always sounds better to side chain sounds with the kick, so that when the kick hits it doesn't sound like a wall of sound overlapping (Synth + Kick).

I would also try making a melody that is catchy first - and then repeat it a few bars, instead of having something different that is hard to grasp.

You could also try filling up the empty space with a pad.

Thanks for sharing ;)
