Hi, IM EBANIEZ, a Producer/DJ from Miami, Florida. I have some tracks that would just be insane with a vocal. How can I find some talented singers to grace their art on one of these? Tips?
Depending on how comfortable you are with just reaching out to people or friends of friends I'd say go with that. In my case I'm in college and was looking for a singer. One of my friends knew a great singer and I liked her voice so I asked him to ask her if she'd want to co-write and sing on a track I'm working on. Some singers are more open to people asking if they'd like to sing on a track and some aren't. I say take the shot and see what happens. The answer is always No if you don't ask. That's just my opinion on this.
