alot of times it comes down to creating the sounds and/or melodies thats in ur head... ive done it a few times... very time consuming... not always gonna come out to exactly what ur thinkin, but very close if u have the patience in creating the sounds u hear.

yea i get those a lot..especially the samples. lol its like u got a couple of the right chops..but then ur mixing THIS ONE CHOP that u cant find anywhere in the god damn sample!!! lol its frustrating...

but anywho, from producing beats using synths/hardware..i do sometimes have these sounds in my head that I want but can't get, but thats where synthesizing comes in!! learn to tweak ur own sounds and tadaa! but yea im still far from being able to do that on the fly.

Yea I know what you mean I have dreams about beats and when I get up I can't remember anything or I'll think of a beat and can't wait to get back to the crib to produce it and when I get back nothing my mind goes blank and I go insane trying to remember
