turntables that can be used to sample without a mixer.

i'm just wondering if anyone knows of any turntable that is sample-ready and doesn't require a mixer. i've already heard about the numark pt01 and i was leaning towards that untill i found out you can't scratch with it. Does anyone know of turntables that have a built in preamp for sampling, and you can scratch with it?

radio shack turntables have built in preamps.... u can hook directly up to the mpc, but u can't scratch wit it....
 
You have 3 options i can think of: -

1. get a turntable with a built in RIAA peramp. Connect this to a line in.
2. get an RIAA preamp (may aswell have a mixer) or a soundcard with built in functionality i.e DMX 6fire.
3. get a phono to USB adaptor or a turntable, such as the Numark one, which has this built in.
 
I"m curious as to why you wouldn't want to get a mixer....the basic ones are pretty cheap. Also, if you just want to sample, why would you need to scratch.

Unless you're going to do baby scratches all day, you're going to need a mixer, or that QFO thing.
