timestrettchin in logic

is this possible??? ive never really used time stretchin before mainly bcuz i thought it was jus pitchin the sample up o down. soo my quetsion is can u timestretch in logic? o do i need another program? if so wat program can i get for free thats compatable wit apple???

who knows? not i, but i saw it done with propellerheads record in the tutorial. rather than askin here tho, might be easier searchin utube and seein if anyone was able to do it.

Yes, it's quite easy. Either use time and pitch machine or cut your sample into a perfect 4 bar (or however many bars the sample is), go to the bottom right corner of the audio file until you see the bracket icon, press and hold the option key while dragging the audio file to where you want it time stretched to.
