sounds good, some people might find the drums a little hectic, but its straight. personally i think u should just tweak the drums to knock a little harder, and filter the bassline a little bit more. not too much tho.

sounds really nice (and like an Al Green sample?). You flipped this one really well I think. All I'd say for criticism is maybe make the drum track a little more straightforward (at least the kick). Don't get me wrong, I think the drums work the way it is now, but it just might be easier to rap over if it were simpler.
There were some weird issues though (volume dropped out at me towards hte beginning and end). Not sure if those were intentional or not.

That's cool I was feelin the same way kinda. I went through about 3 different sets of drums tryna find a good fit by ear. Can you think of what would sound better?
All ya'll is right about the drums being a bit hectic. I guess I over thought that a bit. I'm gonna make another version wit some straightahead drums and use this set right here as like the change up.
its well sampled what sample did you use?ill exchange samples if you need.

I used samples from 3 sources. The obvious vocal samples are Al Green. Some are from an acapella I have of his (not a particularly well known song). The other vocal snippets are from a classic Al Green track. The melody of my song should lead you to the track I'm refering to. However; the core of the track comes from a song entitled UNITED. I ain't given up the group. That's a real dusty grove right dare.
i sampled that one track long time ago, not the al green ones, the one you aint givin up (great sample, i wont tell either, though its not that rare) gotta tell you, the way those three sampled tracks are put together musically is phenominal. after listening to all three originals, i could never ever see that beat in my mind. that beat has potential. i would like to see the drums much more simplistic, more one-twoish, r&b style, to make those samples stand out. then throw some jaheim over it
great stuff there, one of the most creative sampled beats i've heard in a long time. work on that one
change......makes you want to hustle
