What up,

I have FL XXL and M audio trigger finger and I want to sample off of cd's.

if you have the xxl version you should already have the beatslicer i guess..

you need to convert the cd's audiofiles into wav files and can work from there within beatslicer

pretty much. this is why the program comes with a manual shyt i dont mess wit fl and i know its a sample based program

You can work with samples but you can't sample with FL itself. I picked up Acid last night and it is too sweet.
And anyone with FL can tell u that the manual is more tech than how to. If it had the real-time tutorial like Acid it really would be better.

Load the beat slicer and drop a .wav into it. Then chop it within the beat slicer. It's not really hard. The hard put is making nice slices and chops and that takes practice.

The problem I was having was changing the audio from the cd to .wav. I know once it's in .wav form I can slice and dice.
Thank to all for replying.

search google for "audio ripper" and eventually you find a free one

these programs "rip" from cd onto the pc

one of the most famous ones is probably "audiograbber" which i used years ago, but that's not a free one
