Only if the composer, or the movie company care enough. A lot of producers use movie samples without paying, and don't get sued.

The problem with sampling movies is that you could be infringing on several different copyrights.

What if you're just doing a project to **** around with and not make money off it? I'm trying to build my overall production skills and dedicate myself to an EP based around the movie Noriko's Dinner Table. I'm just interested in uploading it to SoundCloud for fun.

Would that pose a discrepancy further down the line?
