Im new dont shout. How do i sample a vocal from an MP3?

Guys girls.

Really new to this business and wanted to know if there is any free software i can download and use to take vocal samples from an MP3.

Also how do i sample.

Nah Cool Edits not free. I think the name of the Wave Editor program is Audacity. This will let u sample and make loops and what not. You cant actually pull just a vocal from a song though. U would have to filter out the other sound the best you can or try and find a accapella. Hope that helped u mayne.
 
nothings free. I recommend an old $20 version of Acid for looping and Sound Forge Studio which is a scaled down version of the original to create samples and final mastering.
And you have to play with EQs to eliminate unwanted sounds and you will never completely take them away, especially with an EQ that only has 8-16 bands.
