How to pitch shift a sample like this

I tried turning the pitch down in the channel settings but it didnt sound as good.

Any plugins or techniques that make it sound better?? Thank you!

Fruity slicer works (theres two sliders 1 for pitching 1 dor time stretching) and the pitch control in fruity loops. Another tip is to make two of the same tracks. Leave one normal then the other one chop the parts that you wanted at a lower pitch and change the pitch. So you would play the first track until the point where you wanted that pitch change then use the other channel. Hope that makes sense. Good luck!
