I want to make a sound folder of all one note sounds from records to add over fututre songs but was wondering say you're recording a piano chord will you record it at a certain tempo or just leave it and change the tempo when using the sound over a beat?

    I wouldn't use a chord but rather a note.

what tempo would a note be? unless you are repeating the note and playing it it isn't a tempo its a one shot.
