    Clicks on my chops

    sometimes when i chop samples on my mpc 2000xl i get a liitle click sound at the beginning of the chops, how do i make it so this doesnt happen?

    add a little attack to the samples I can,t tell you how to do this on a MPC because I use FL

    are you sure its at the beginning??? do you hear the click when you trigger the sample and let it loop or when you just trigger it once... I find that usually when I have a click on a looping sample its actually the end of the sample coming back around and not meeting the beginning at a zero crossing point... you should zoom in and make sure the sample starts and ends in silence

    you can avoid clicks with compression with fast attack.

    if there is a click at the begging of the chop you are probably chopping at the wrong part of the sample.

    load it into your computer and add a fade, probably only 5-10 ms. i don't have an mpc, but i would think you could hopefully skip the whole usb thing.

    if u hear clickin,den u prolly not choppin at the right points,i have that trouble sometimes as well,just re sample until the chop is perfect
