What's good? So I hopped on here yesterday for the first time in a while and came across something in the "flip this" section. So I put my flip together but my mix was sounding real rough compared to the others that posted their flips. I think my main problem is I don't clean, filter or eq the sample b/c I have no clue how to go about that. I want my sample to sound smooth and clean rather than really high end and rough. Any pointers?
Also just in general can you give me any feedback on my mix. Drums have always passed me by, my snared never really knocks like most cats on here. Any help would be much appreciated, the link is to the beat that I flipped yesterday. Thanks,
