Chopping Samples

What is the best way to chop/play samples like an MPC?
I want a VST that does the same thing (or similar)..?

I have the MPK to play it on after the chops.

HI, on sourceforge (so it's free and opensource) you can find a software called SMASHER.
Check it out, it may works for you.

Kontakt's slicer is pretty decent, and often overlooked.

I don't know what DAW you're using, but I just use edison on FL Studio.

load chop to FPC
there visual MPC pads you can load each sound onto then play back from MPK

i use fl studio and edison to cut out parts then chop in slicex. haven't been sampling lately though need a new turntable (getting one this week)
