Best way to sample on FL Studio?

Whats the best way to sample without any MPC's and stuff. What are the best plugins?

Edison on the master. Drag your chops to the step sequencer. Timestretch/pitch under channel settings.

Slicex gives errors when you clone it.
Fruity Slicer also gives errors but much less often. so i use Fruity Slicer instead of Slicex.

Put it into edison.
Add slice markers. (Even if you auto chop zoom in and micro edit)
Drag it to the playlist as an audio clip.
Select chop into regions.
Quantize.
Correct groove or creatively rearrange slices by using slip edit tool, cloning, time stretch, pitch, and nudging slices.

Resample and slice again!

good as if works for your workflow....but not necessary maybe back in 2004

but now FL Studio Producer Edition has all the tools needed
and blows
Cool Edit Pro out of the water

as I use to use Cool Edit Pro to chops samples the I started using Acid Pro 4.0 to chop up samples

honestly, i sample in acid pro 6, export them as wavs or mp3s( to save hard drive space) then load them in the sequencer. edison is pretty good to tighten the sample. as far as plug-ins, fruity compressor and eq is good to make your samples sound fuller and to even them out.

I use edison on fl , then put my chops on the FL FPC that is controlled with my MPD24.
