My best mate lives in another city now (we're in our 30's) and I've always been pretty close with his family.
So when his mum decided it was time to get rid of her vinyl collection... I got a phone call telling me I had first dibs!
Good couple hours spent going through 20 or so crates of vinyl this afternoon and came home with a couple boxes of prog-rock, jazz and soul records.
Could not be happier.
Be nice to the parents of your friends. They were collecting music before you were born.
