1) Get a turntable
2) Make sure the cartride/stylus is good
3) Run the output of your turntable into a turntable mixer/preamp. You can buy these for really cheap or really expensive. If you're just sampling and not trying to be a dj, go for cheap ($40 or less).
4) MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT THE GROUNDING CABLE
5) Run the output of your mixer/preamp to the input of your soundcard. If you're using a built in soundcard or some non semi-pro soundcard, be sure to use the "Line-In" connection. You may need a cable adapter to do this
6) Load up a recording program (worst comes to worst you can use sound recorder that comes with every copy of windows).
7) Record your audio at atleast 44.1kHZ/16-bit

Bam. You're done.
