usb turntable vs normal turntable

I'm looking to get a turntable for sampling. Since i don't have a preamp, i though usb would be the way to go. But after reading reviews, i'm not sure anymore... i read bad things about almost every usb turntable under 200$.
Somebody has one that he would recommend, in this budget?

I think numark tt-usb, numark PT-01USB or Vestax handy trax should be good enough.

I've had the Numark TT-USB for almost 2 years now, with no problems at all.

i just copped the Stanton T.92 USB TT and it works very well..maybe you were just getting reviews from bitter analog djs

i don't know..quality on this thing is great..can't wait to cop another

Ended up buying an omnitronic 2520. Bit more expensive then the numark tt usb, supposedly better... it's a direct drive but you can't scrath with it. Works fine otherwise tho.

Ive owned both and prefer traditional turntables. That way you can route to your hardware if you ever decide to go in that direction.
