Hey so for the past few months
I have been planning and researching for production

I am trying to produce music, I would say beats
based of samplings from specific eras of genres
[Still have not chosen the source/method of sampling]

My question is that if I am using Logic Pro X
what would be a perfect source of samplings
I would like sampling of vinyls but money is tight

what are your thoughts?
and I hope I have posted in the right forum for this question

If your just starting out I would say just try to find some good samples on the internet ripped from old vinyl records. The quality of the mp3s isn't the best but it works just to practice with. But ultimately, if you really wanna get into sampling you Also, recordings from the 70s are your best bet as far as an era.

there is no rules. you make the rules when you sample as long as it sounds good.

You can either download the samples from internet,, or buy a vinyl player and then buy some vinyl.
