Transposing pitch of your sample in logic?

I've used ES sampler to change the pitch of the sample but when I do that, it also changes the tempo of the sample as well (lower the note, slower it sounds). Is there plug in or a function in logic that helps changing the pitch of your sample without affecting its tempo?

It's somewhere in the channel settings, I'll see if I can find a video tutorial. A few years back I wanted to get into logic and because of how hard it was to find simple functions like this, I ended up passing on the program. It's fairly simple once you find it, but not placed LOGICALLY(pun)when comparing to other DAWs.

Don't listen to anyone talking about involving the ESX, that way is just stupid.

you double click the audio file you want to stretch. hit factory > time and pitch machine. there you go, you can leave it at the same tempo and on the bottom program the harmonic shift.
logic sucks at pitch shifting and timestretching unless its for minor stuff IMO... download twisted wave. gave ya a gem right there
