is there anyway to record a sample from a record player without an amp/dj mixer?

i mean from a turntable*** i have a "ion profile pro"
 
Your turntalbe says it has a built in preamp and usb connectivity, so that would be yes.

There are 2 ways to get this done

1.Plug the turntable in via usb have your soundcard listen to the usb port.
2.Plug your table into an interface (if it has RCA connection) you may need a rca to 1/4 connector
 
Just take the records and put them into your CD drive on your computer. This is how I do mine usually. Sometimes you have to force them in to the drive but it works 100% of the time.
