So many flips, so many FLIPS!!

What's good, FP? I've been having a little dilemma lately. I'll listen to a record & find the sample, but I'll hear maybe 3 or 4 different flips to that one sample. Then when it comes time to make the beat, I have the trouble deciding which to make. Which one knocks the hardest? Which one feels right? Anyone else have this issue?

I know what you mean, though I've never had the problem. It's all about deciding which works the best musically. Which could you see an artist best fitting over.

Or you could always just flip the sample 4 ways to make 4 different records. Nothing wrong with that.

Nothing wrong with killing multiple birds with one stone. What I'm saying is, if they're different enough, make as many flips as possible with that one sample. I've always done that.

Work with all of them and your mind will let you know which one is the best fit...experiments change the world :)
