1)Buy a turntable
2)A pre-amp or mixer
3)some rca cables, stereo input jack and mono
4)plug in and play

does it matter what kinda of turntable i get?
or will cheap ones not have the right cord plug ins i need?
It only matters if you're wanting to rip something in really good quality or not, if you want decent quality just get an 100 dollar turntable with a built-in preamp.

Any turntable will work as long as the needle is ok.

My Dog´s name is ¨Sampler¨...

Hey, i´m new here!..
I use to sampling every time in my music. From Vinyls, Cds, TV, conversations, phone, landscapes, parties..... Everything i record it saved on a minidisc recorder with a mini-stereo-personal microphone. Then, by usb or line-in , i saved everything on my laptop....to edit, chop, trigger... using live. Internal microphone from MACs its fantastic to record noisy, dirty, over-saturated samples!!

Glad to be here !!!
